Provision for Insurance and Compensation is an essential part of Migrant Labour Support Programme. On 7/12/06 the Honourable Chief Minister, Madhya Pradesh has distributed cheques of Rs. 37000 each to two widows, Ms. Sugana Bai W/o Late Mr. Nathu, of village Ajabgarh under the Palayan Seva Kendra (PSK) of Raoti and Ms Vesta Bai W/o Late Mr.Poonja Kharadi of village Garethi under the Palayan Seva Kendra (PSK) of Sarvan. The death compensation was approved through the Labour Department of Ratlam, as the Gramin Vikas Trust had duly registered their husbands name at PSKs. These labourers have been migrating for construction work at Surat and Baroda. Thus PSKs in Ratlam districts are playing pivotal role in linking with Government Organizations.
