Institutional Development
CBO formation & strengthening and financial inclusion are the main areas of intervention under Institutional Development. GVT has mobilized communities and formed SHGs consisting of members from marginal and deprived families. The groups are able to access the project funds based on the basis of their actual needs and plans and the beneficiaries are identified by the group members. Till 2011 GVT has developed around 4417 groups under various flagship programmes like watershed programme, WADI, agriculture, training etc.
