GVT works with the poorest and most marginalized people of the country in eastern and western India. We work in

• Remote and unreachable villages where the rays of development have not reached.
• Areas where the SC/ST population is more than 75%.
• Ecologically poor rainfed areas of western and eastern India
• Areas that receive rainfall very erratically.
• Areas where the topography is hilly and undulating.
• Degraded forest areas.
• Land ranging from low-land valley bottoms to sloping uplands.
